oh, right! you're probably thinking that i just underwent the longest thesis defense of all time! in actuality, it only lasted two hours or so and my thesis was accepted with minor revisions!
it's been nearly a week now, and i've done the bulk of those revisions, most of which were additional footnotes and teeny typos. (it turns out there are no such things as "god mines.") i have a little more to do at the library tomorrow morning, and then i'll be done!!!

I hate to ask as I'm sure you've written it on here already but what was your argument? I remember you telling me you were exploring pacifism and just war theory; was it the Vietnam War that you focused on in your thesis?
