from way across the ocean, my little sissy asked me why i was smiling. in response, i offer this partial list of my reasons for glee:

- a mom who takes care of me when i sacrifice part of my finger to the mandolin* gods
- a boyfriend who listens and is teaching me when to stop talking
- friends who have big! changes! going on in their lives
- the impending return of little sissy and her husband!
- seeing nyc for the first time soon
- big sissy's wedding in june!

- phone calls with michelle
- apples and peanut butter

Dibs... are those the chocolate covered ice cream things? (I gotta say, I was disappointed by them...) Now, apples and peanut butter - that's the best snack EVER! But we've already had that talk... and I too enjoy our phone calls. Tomorrow, right? Let's talk more about convocation.
So you got a mandolin?! That was on your wish list, wasn't it! Wahoo! Except for the lacerations... (Gotta admit, mandolins kinda scare me...) I'm glad you have a Mom around to take care of you. Btw, is "Gems from my Mother" still around?
